Camp Pendleton Mud Run

In June, 2010, Classic Chariots was a sponsor for the World Famous Mud Run on Camp Pendleton. The Mud Run is a tough 7 mile run through obstacles and rough terrain, a swim through a lake, and even a tour through Combat Town, a marine training area. Over 15,000 people participate in this event every year. Classic Chariots sponsored a team with members made up from the USS Haddock and our own employees.

Classic Chariots was set up near the start/finish line and had a vehicle on display. We also handed out bottle openers to all the finishing contestants. The Mud Run was held over a period of three days and had 2 starts/finishes (one for single participants and one for teams). The Teams category was possibly the most interesting, as many weren't after a competitive time. It seemed that there was an unspoken competition to have the most interesting team costumes!
